O little one

O little one by Wanda Stride (copyright 2014)

O little one, O little one
wish you could tell me where I’ve been what I’ve become
it seem OK… so what is wrong? O little one

your little soul, your little soul
was open wide and full of hope despite the cold
but where’s the sun? does it still light your little soul?

cause I have tried to follow my own path
but like a feather in a storm it didn’t last
picked up by the wind, I clung to any solid ground
and I prayed for you little one.

O mighty one, O might one
you’re looking down – you see how far you have come
why do you fear? you are so strong, O might one.

and I have tried to follow my own path
but like a feather in a storm, it didn’t last
picked up by the wind, I clung to any solid ground
and I prayer for you mighty one

O ancient one, O ancient one
you look behind you now it’s all been done.
What do you see? Is it still me, O ancient one?

Cause I have tried to follow my own path
but like a feather in a storm it didn’t last
picked up by the wind, I clung to any solid ground
and I prayed for you little one.
